The price gradient effects of diverse pandemic-related policy shocks are investigated in this study, applying a hedonic price model to district-level property transaction data in Shanghai, China, over a period of 48 months (2018-2021). Our research indicates a significant reshaping of the bid-rent curves, attributable to these shocks.
